Lost in Singapore Day 1

Travelling is everyone's dream. A dream to explore the world and finding yourself. Getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things. It's my dream and now I'm slowly turning that dream happen. But that doesn't just happen where I wake up, book a flight and go. I need money to do that so I save money, find a cheaper flight, get my passport, do some research and I'm ready to go.

My first international flight was the LION CITY, SINGAPORE. It is an expensive country according to many, but that didn't stop me. You find ways to make it happen.

First stop: SENTOSA

This is not the real Merlion, just a replicate. We were supposed to go to Universal Studios but since its Sunday that day so it is very crowded. We decided to go here instead and take some pictures. The admission here is free.

Second stop: MERLION, MARINA BAY SANDS AND HELIX BRIDGE

This is the real Merlion, half Mermaid and half Lion. I was so happy when we reached this spot because I only seen this view in the magazines. I just can't believe I was actually seeing it in person. I was in complete awe and that was priceless.

Don't forget to buy this ice cream on your way to the bridge. It taste good!

Third stop: GARDENS BY THE BAY

Under these Supertree Grove is magical. I felt like I was Thumbelina, surrounded by big trees.
Inside the gardens by the bay they offer two observatory: Flower dome and Cloud forest. ADMISSION: SGD 28

FLOWER DOME

The Flower dome is definitely my favorite. They have cherry blossom all over the place and it's so pink.

Sorry for not giving justice to this Cherry blossom tree.

CLOUD FOREST

This is what welcomes you inside the Cloud forest. Full of trees like a forest. LOL!
This is the coolest flower I have seen. I think this is made of Lego.

Before going home we watched the Supertrees come alive with colorful lights and music.
